Severance is at the top of the 77th Emmy nominations with 27 total. Following closely are The Penguin (24) and both The Studio and The White Lotus with 23 each. The awards will be presented on September 14, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, with Nate Bargatze as host.

Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song announced the nominations on July 15 at the Television Academy’s Wolf Theatre.

Among this year’s big stories: 15-year-old Owen Cooper earned a supporting actor nod for Adolescence, making him the youngest ever nominated in that category for a limited series. At the other end of the spectrum, Harrison Ford received his first Emmy nomination at age 83 for his role in Shrinking.

“I’m just happy people saw the work,” said Cooper during a brief media call.
