Famous ‘Full House’ Victorian in San Francisco Sold for $6 Million

The San Francisco property made famous by the 1990s sitcom Full House has officially changed hands. The Pacific Heights home at 1709 Broderick Street, known for its cameo in the show’s opening credits, sold for $6 million in early April. This isn’t the first time the iconic Victorian has been on the market, but this sale comes with something extra — celebrity memorabilia embedded in the backyard.

Inside the Deal

The four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home spans roughly 3,700 square feet. Originally built in the 1880s, it received major interior updates in 2019 from architect Richard Landry, combining modern functionality with classic architectural elements.

Key features include:

  • Modern kitchen and bathrooms with high-end finishes.
  • A private backyard with cast hand-prints and signatures.
  • Bay views and a two-car garage.
  • Open floor plans and vaulted ceilings.

What Makes This Home Stand Out

While the home’s exterior appeared regularly in Full House and its Netflix reboot Fuller House, no scenes were filmed inside the property. However, the nostalgia factor alone has made it a popular photo op for fans over the years.

In a unique twist, concrete slabs in the backyard contain signatures and handprints from cast members including Bob Saget, John Stamos, and Candace Cameron Bure — a feature that clearly resonated with the buyer. The buyer’s identity has not been made public, and the sale was handled by Rachel Swann of The Swann Group.

A Piece of TV History

Real estate connected to pop culture often draws attention, but this sale shows that tangible memorabilia can add more than just charm — it adds value. The new owner now holds a rare combination: a fully updated home with a tangible link to television history.
